I am very proud of my cousin and my aunt, who put out Teen Trend Magazine. The review I am about to write is exactly how I feel about the magazine and not because I'm related to them.
Teen Trend Magazine is a great magazine for teen girls and guys. It's got a lot of information in it. The articles are really smart, and they don't "talk to us" like we're stupid teenagers. The writers in this magazine are really intelligent and totally know how to talk to teenagers. They know what teenagers are looking for.
I love the contests that Teen Trend has. I haven't won any, but I definitely enter them every month. I am a subscriber to this magazine, and I read it from cover to cover. I love taking the Pop Quiz every month, and I have even written in to the He Said, She Said advice column. My question hasn't been answered yet, but I know it will be at some point.
The pictures are great. They are really cool because Teen Trend uses real teenagers to model for it. I should know! I modeled for one of the issues, which was a lot of fun. And teens don't only model-- They also write reviews on stuff like products and books. It's way cool.
I really like the college profiles. I'm getting ready to go to college myself, and I like that they talk about so many different colleges every issue. And I like how they interview people with different jobs and how to get them-- I hope to read about an orthodontist soon. (HINT! HINT!)
The one thing that I would change about Teen Trend is that I would get more celebrities in it. I know that they are trying to do that with the Celebrity Spill column, but I really want to read some Hollywood gossip. Then again, I don't think that fits into what Teen Trend is all about.
I love this magazine. It's the only one that I read from front to back. I have even used some of the articles for class assignments. It's a great magazine that all teenagers can relate to. If you don't subscribe, you should.
