The Bottom Line I wrote this poem after a miscarriage, since then we decided to call the baby Kelly and she is still part of our life.
The happiest day I ever knew Was the day I found out about you I was as happy as a person could be because you were a part of me The day I saw your heartbeat I couldn't wait until they day we would meet My eyes were filled with tears to cry but in a few short weeks I'd have to say good bye The saddest day I ever knew was when I found out I lost you I was as lonely as a person could be because you were taken away from me Gone to heaven you are now The pain will go away someday somehow but I know someday we will meet maybe then my heart will beat I'm as empty as a woman can be but now I know that you are free I didn't even know your name for the day of your birth never came Part of my life you will always be and maybe someday your face I will see I love you with all of my heart and one day we will never be apart I love you always MOM -KS  |
