I have been using Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash for over six months. The first time I had heard about this product was when I did a survey for Procter & Gamble. I received a sample of Fit in the mail and I really liked the results that I achieved by using Fit Wash on my fruits and vegetables. One of the main reasons that I like this product is because it is made of 100% all natural ingredients that are found in everyday foods. These ingredients are listed below:
Purified water
Oleic acid and Glycerol (vegetable source)
Ethyl alcohol (corn)
Potassium hydrate (basic minerals)
Baking soda (basic minerals)
Citric acid (corn starch and molasses)
Distilled grapefruit oil
It does not contain any Phosphate
Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash helps to remove any dirt, soil, wax, or other residues that may be on your fruits or vegetables. The natural ingredients that this wash is made from makes me feel safe to use it. I make sure that after I have sprayed or soaked my fruits or vegetables in Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash that I thoroughly rinse my food products. I have never noticed any aftertaste using this food wash. It leaves our foods smelling fresher by getting our foods completely clean. The food even appears brighter in color and has a more dynamic aroma.
How do you use this wash?
You can purchase this product in a spray solution or as a soaking solution. There is even a starter kit with 32 ounces of Fit Fruit and Vegetable Wash for soaking purposes. This kit also includes a plastic soaking bowl, a soaking basket and an 8.5 ounces in a Fit spray bottle.
I found this product at my local Krogers Grocery Store. They even had coupons available at the display if you wanted to purchase the Starter Kit. I personally prefer the spray bottle since it is easier for me to store in my kitchen. The cost of this 8.5 oz. spray bottle was about $4.00.
I like the spray method of cleaning my tomatoes, apples, oranges and any other produce that you can hold in your hand. The first step is to spray the fruit or vegetable covering it completely. Then you gently rub the food for twenty seconds and rinse under running water. If the food you are cleaning is hard to rub produce, then leave the spray on for about two to three minutes before rinsing clean.
The soaking method is for foods that are hard to hold, like grapes, broccoli, green beans, etc. You must remember to use one capful of the Fit Wash Solution to each one half gallon of water. When you place you food in this soaking solution, make sure the food is totally covered between two to three minutes, then rinse thoroughly under running water.
Please remember that after you have cleaned your fruits and vegetables you should use them within one to two days since you have washed away the preservatives. If you are still hesitate about using this product, then you should take the Fit Challenge. Wash one fruit or vegetable using the spray solution and wash the other one with regular water. You should see the brightness in the color of the foods cleaned with Fit Wash Solution. The fruit will be squeaky clean and there will be no aftertaste if you rinse your product as suggested. As I have already mentioned, there is a more intense aroma of the fruit or vegetable cleaned in Fit Wash. You will be amazed at the dirt and residue that will be in your soaking water. The only way to believe it, is to try it!
This is a Helping Hand Write-Off that bgoodday has done for the second year. The money I raise from this review will be donated to our local animal shelter. West Virginia just had a terrible flood that devastated over eight counties in our state. We lost several homeless animals at our local shelter due to the damaging flood waters. We will add enough money to this review to make a twenty dollar donation to our local animal shelter for clean water, food and needed supplies. Please support the other people who are joining in this Helping Hand Write-Off. The list or writers participating in this write-off will be on bgoodday's profile page. Thank you for reading.
