Great piece of technology who's time is about up.....

I just recently moved back to cable (HD cable with DVR)which looks to be a long term deal and unplugged my DRD515RB after about 10 years of EXCELLENT performance.

In this new day of HD, TiVo and DVRs, standard digital receivers like this one are on the cusp of extinction but I just had to offer up a great review of this receiver for it's usability and durability.

My wife and I enjoyed great clarity, features and zero, I repeat, ZERO problems with this receiver over it's ten year life in our homes.

I'll probably store it away in a clean, dry box and look at it years down the road and think to myself, "Now THIS was a great piece of technology."
