I purchased this thermostat less than 2 years ago, brand new for about $150. It had all of the features that I needed in a thermostat: 7 day, 4 event programmable, adjustable differential, temporary override. It worked well while it lasted but recently I started to have trouble with my furnace acting strangely and diagnosed that the thermostat was the cause. I contacted the manufacturer and was upset to first find out that the thermostat was no longer under warranty (12 month warranty), and then to find out that the manufacturer of the thermostat does not service their products. For this reason alone, I would not recommend this brand of thermostat. Many others companies with similar thermostats offer a 5 year warranty.

After about 20 months I have a $150 piece of electronics that will end up in the landfill.
