My kids and I like it, but he does have some bugs. He makes me laugh, pleasant to look at but takes some work to get him running correctly.
The company says he has a free storybook that I can't download. The company needs some lessons in PR and Customer Service, they take days to get back in touch with you, if at all. Have to send several emails to have a question answered.
If you have a sense of humor and some patience, I recommend him. If you're a stuffed shirt, don't download him. If you have kids, they'll love him. My son says "he needs to kiss him". That's worth the bit of work it takes to get him running good.
Bonzi does leave trails across the screen when you move him and the add-ons are expensive. I think the only way to get the add-ons is to become a "gold member" not fair!! The Web Compass doesn't work well with Windows Me, avoid that part or delete that file, it streaks up near the address bar, annoying. If you don't want him to ask you about going to school, you can adjust his personality.
