I have been with MyPoints for a little over a year now and am absolutely thrilled with this site. There are a wide variety of ways for a member to earn points and the points can be redeemed for gift certificates to a number of restaurants and retailers. I recently cashed in a batch of points and received over $100 in gift certificates.
Points are fairly easy to acquire...You can gain about 50/week just by reading the emails they send you. Then, should you decide to participate in the offer, there are even more points to be had.
The site, itself, offers numerous ways to earn points. You will benefit just from visiting various websites, awnsering surveys, and signing up for trial offers. Some of the trial offers require a credit card ##, but I have been doing this for over a year and have never been burned. Even if you forget to cancel after your trial period there is always a toll-free # to call and they will credit any charges back right away. Many of the trial offers have more freebies attached to them as well...so you get double the benefits!! I have about $200 in Savings bonds that I got as "free gifts" from the companys that offer the trials.
MyPoints offers a nice referral system that allows you to earn 100 points for every new member that signs up under you. They put a cap of 10 referrals/month, but even this will add up fast. They do, however have a strict anti-spam policy so be careful how you recruit people. Speaking of which, feel free to use my user name when you sign up...RACMIL109 :o)
Finally, Mypoints has a wonderful shopping area. These are reputable online retailers who offer a wide variety of products. The site usually offers 2 points per $ spent, but there are many sites where you can earn more than that. Also, there is a Great Deals section that lists sites offering free shipping and sales.
