Worst experience I've had with an online retailer

I'll start with the good: The coffee table I ordered arrived within a week.
But now for the bad: It arrived with a corner broken off. I contacted overstock.com the following day. Since the item was now sold out, I asked if they'd be willing to reduce the price (no, only offer a $10 store credit), or if not, to arrange for a return.
Their return policy indicates that defective merchandise may be returned for a full refund. They'll send you a return shipping label, inspect the item once they get it back, and refund your money. After my first contact with customer service, I was told that a "specialized representative" would contact me within two business days. Then nothing. I tried again, was told there was a "miscommunication," and that a "specialized representative" would contact me "as soon as possible." Still nothing. Third try, I was told that there was another miscommunication, but that a specialized representative would contact me the next day to arrange for someone to visit my home to inspect the product. Um, no, that's not what the return policy says. They won't arrange for return shipping.
At this point I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company. NEVER again.
UPDATE: After ten frustrating days dealing with their obviously overseas customer service reps via instant message, I called the 800 number. I got a helpful, native speaker of English (this seems to have been the problem) who refunded my money immediately. If you have a problem with overstock.com, try calling first!!!
