Nedipooh of Arkansas is already mowing, and, here in Indiana, an isolated person or two has started mowing, though the grass is just starting to turn green.
In short: Don't worry, because your time is coming!!!
Happy Spring!

Very nice!! (Reply to this comment)

Superb piece of humorous poetry, AJ. Alas, we're still under a blanket of snow here in Maine, so it'll still be a while until I get my (sorta-kinda) self-propelled "lawnmoron" out of mothballs. Ahhh, spring!!!
Best wishes,

Buy up a lot of land and use enough of this stuff
In order to make your yard big enough
That you can use part of it for a football field--
And what a profit this could yield
When you rent it to teams--then charge a fee
For others to watch, while your entertainment's free!
As for myself, I'm no football fan--
But I know YOU would be in Hog Heaven, my man!!!
Cheers!

You Arkansas people are obviously way ahead of us Hoosiers! We're just starting to get tiny leaves and/or a few blossoms on some of the trees.
The rest of the non-evergreen trees are continuing to wear nothing but their birthday suits.
But I can see a few patches of new green here and there, so it won't be long before the sound of those very-rare cooperative lawnmowers and those scores of lazy lawnmorons will be heard around here!
Happy Spring!

I told my wife win we win the Lottery
That we will buy a NEW house with lots of pottery,
We will also have no need for real grass you see
It's Astroturf for our place and especially for me

Tomorrow is going to be our first major yard work of the spring. The grass is already knee-high and Bobby's been out there planting more seed. AACCKKKK!! This could be a long summer.....

Our weather here is considerably-warmer, even though I hear that there might be a wintry mix come in about Tuesday.
It isn't quite time for mowing around here yet but soon will be.
I've never minded mowing grass--in fact, it has proven to be great exercise. However, it seemed as if any lawnmower we got quickly became a lawnmoron--just as if they were almost junk from the very time we bought them!
We have no worries anymore, though, because we have a reliable guy with a heavy-duty mowing machine taking care of our big expanse of lawn these days!
Hope spring arrives soon in upper Wisconsin, because it sounds as if you're good'n'ready for it!
Cheers!

Now that's a good idea! It's gotta be either that or live in an apartment, I detest cutting grass. For now though, we're still chipping solid layers of ice off the windshield and driving 20 miles an hour everywhere we go. I guess even the weather has an April Fools spirit about it...
See ya~
