Become a gamer for $100.00

Pros:Smooth 128-bit graphics, 56k modem, 4-controller ports, cheap price.
Cons:Lack of quality games and games in general, cheap sound.
The Bottom Line: For the price, simplicity, and quality you cant beat it; but when it comes to gameplay, look somewhere else.Manufacturing of Dreamcast games will soon stop.
Do you lack the funds for a computer, Webtv or antything of the sort and you would like to surf the web or battle it out on QuakeIII ...well SEGA has just the right thing for you. A 56k modem may not be as fast as a fancy new broadband connection, but it will get you somewhere (only a little slower). Unlike past gaming consoles, the Dreamcast now enables you to challenge anyone around the world to play against you in multiplayer mode. The list of games is still expanding, but not for long (possibly only a few months left of game production). If you are a new gamer (not a hardcore gaming enthusiast) and you are looking for simple raw fun, then the Dreamcast will not disappoint you.
