Ever since I have become a part time webmaster and computer junkie, I have needed to use FTP to save files on the Internet. I don't remember exactly when I started or when the first CuteFTP was released. But I can tell you that ever since I got it, it has never failed me. I have tried a few other FTP programs, and they just do not compare to the easiness and capability of CuteFTP. Using web browsers for FTP is limited and I wouldnt suggest it if you need to upload, get CuteFTP.

Easy of Use??
CuteFTP takes a very little while to learn, but I picked it up quite easily. It has progressed much in its later versions. You can keep all your favorite FTP sites stored, which is important to me since I need to access a lot of sites as a web master. It also shows you the commands it is doing, so you will know if something goes wrong. But one of my favorite features, is that it is quick and easy to use!

Reliability
GlobalSCAPE keeps coming out with new versions, I am not quite sure I am even up to date anymore. However, all the versions work great and to this day I have found no other ftp program to be as good or reliable as CuteFTP.

Downfall
A small problem... I have noticed in newer versions they put in banner ads if you haven't registered it, and along with being annoying they seemed to make CuteFTP crash more often. Which I feel is horrible, but Im still not complaining, I just use an older version ;)

Summary
Overall, I think its the best FTP program out there, and take my opinion seriously, I have tried many other FTP programs. I have used it for years and it has never failed me!
