HA!
Barb is trying to pin down to an exact date for that, but with Lars company everything is always changing. The 3rd we leave Nawlins for Galveston for two weeks, then it is either back here or on to Tampa... so Coconut Grove is looking like the end of Sept or beginning of Oct... Stay tuned! When I know for certain, I'll put up a member center dealie (likely with only a few days notice.)

You Are My Favorite!! (Reply to this comment)
by davidp24
Doc, since I've joined Epinions, you are my favorite. Your writings are always the most interesting to me. I appreciate that you were the first to add me to the Web of Trust. Obviously you are the first one I trusted too.
You really write from your heart. I can't believe some of the things you have gone through in your life. Everyone has some hardships that they've gone through, but you have had more than your fair share.
I'm looking forward to our "get together" at Mr. Moe's when you are in Miami. I think we will hit it off really well. Take care.

LOL!!
Well big sis, you can claim superiority on the writing ability by far. Funny thing, I could whip out a term paper in nothing flat and had professors rolling..but these days it seems I'm good for a one-liner here and there but can't carry that over to my review writing. Odd, eh?
Now pass them drugs man.. you bogart!
And oh yeah! Mom was in OBX last week and I didn't know it? *wail* I woulda drove down there to meet her! She always did like you best! *sniff*

you knew I'd show, right? ....Yes, these things all appear to be true about you. (Ticking off on my list) ....I didn't find any surprises here. Oh maybe one or two. But hey, who cares, right?
I have absolutely nothing against bad language. I just can't get past the GD editor on the Epinions site spellchecker! .....
Well, sister, I can't find a single point to claim superiority over you. However, since I AM the oldest, I have some rights......(OK I am babbling....been to the dentist...getting pain medication AND Antibiotics! Whoohoo!!!) I can't believe I have not read any of my favorite people in two frickin' months. Where have I been? ....don't answer that.
I don't know why I'm writing this. You will probably never see it. Contemplating your current write off-after I finish contemplating my navel. If I can find my navel...Oh hell....
I liked this little list. It was very YOU! Jude

seriously be my best friend! Except for the blond hair and blue eyes (I am a dark brunette with dark brown eyes), I found myself agreeing very much with what you said!
I love Dragonlance !! Have you ever read the Wheel of Time? I think it's a great series, along with David Edding's Belgariad and Mallorean.
I also love all things Medieval. My dream home has a huge fireplace with two swords crossed over it. I love going to Renaissance Fairs, and have actually participated in one.
You seem to share my love for food and hatred for exercise..
And if you ever want to get into an argument for fun, I'm here.. I'll definitely participate :)
It was great reading about you, Have a nice day

Isn't it great when you can be yourself. Very few people can accept themselves the way they are. Good for you. Loved the false teeth bit, but sad at how much you paid out.
Thanks for making me smile.

Shocking the world is always fun, but Pacific Gas & Electric has threatened to cut off my electricity if I attempt to do so again without paying their exorbitant fee in advance. Maybe we should limit it to one or two medium-sized continents? Your call....

Re: gun fun (Reply to this comment)

LMAO!!
I had one of those kinds too.. long day at work, stuck in 3 hours of traffic getting home, car over heats so I pull over on the Sepulveda Pass in L.A. to let it cool down.
Guy stops to help, cop stops behind him and gets mad at ME for endangering the guys life by letting him stop there to help me.. then drives off! ARGH... then another pulls off and comes up to the car with a freakin knife and wants my damn purse! I was like 'you are asking the wrong b1tch buddy cuz I am NOT in the mood for this sh1t' I then went on to relay my week to him in no uncertain terms.. he RAN back to his scare screaming 'you're f*cking crazy!' Toooo funny.

Second comment. I had a gun pulled on me once; i was being mugged. I was mostly just irritated - i was worried that Greyhound was busy losing my bag, so i wasn't really up for distractions. (I'm pretty sure Greyhound didn't lose my bag that night... they made up for it later, though)

Hey, Doc!!! (Reply to this comment)
by AinsleyJo
Came over here looking for that clue you wanted me to find--but I don't believe I've found it!
No problem, though, because I found a really interesting review, even if I didn't agree with some of it.
Uncle Don seldom wore his dentures (He lost his teeth after being in the Korean War and getting trench mouth.), but he could eat everything with his gums--including steak!!!
When it comes to cancer, I often wonder if there aren't times in our lives when there might be cancer active in our bodies and we don't even know it and just go on living.
Then, whatever the problem is (e.g. stress, low-immune system) goes away, and so does our cancer.
Otherwords, cancer is only recognized when it becomes a problem too big to go away on its own.
Anyway, that's just a thought.
Glad you've overcome it for all of these years!
Warmly,
AJ :o)

... fascinating, really. My experience with doctors is similar. After my two heart attacks, they wanted me to have a transplant --- said I had 2 to 5 years to live without it. I said "no," and seven years later I'm still here. Hmmm... Keep up the great writing.
