The Bottom Line My Bottom Line is not among the 20 things I'm willing to reveal.
Yesterday I received a kind request from corpgent to pen a little ditty entitled 20 or so Facts About Me, for his first write off. So here goes: 1) I hate to cook, and I suck at it. Luckily, I married a man who likes to cook, and cooks very well, or we would all starve or have food poisoning. 2) I was a pom pom girl in high school. Mortifying. 3) I wear a size 7 shoe (there was no mention of the things being interesting). 4) I cry at the end of Field of Dreams - every time. 5) I have been vaccinated for rabies (dead bat incident – don’t ask) 6) I hate bats (see above). 7) I watch too much TV – I know it, and revel in it. 8) I have never owned a car with an automatic transmission (again, no one said interesting). 9) My favorite TV show as a kid was Bewitched. I always thought it would be fun to be a witch. But I also figured I would ditch Darren and go do all the cool witch stuff. 10) I have never owned a dog – but did get bit by one once. 11) My mom once let me stay home from school to read the end of Atlas Shrugged. 12) There is one Christmas ornament sitting on my piano. It will undoubtedly still be there next Christmas. 13) I am obscenely proud of my children. 14) I don’t like to fly. 15) I have been known, as an adult, to laugh at fart jokes. 16) If I could subsist entirely on big bakery chocolate chip cookies, I would gladly do so. 17) I love watching professional road racing (bicycles, that is). 18) I am nearly nocturnal. The term “night owl” barely scratches the surface. 19) I have never once been mistaken for Julia Roberts, David Letterman or Marilyn Manson (people are shockingly unobservant). 20) My house is filled with books and toys and chaos. I like it that way. So there you have it. 20 things. Thanks much to corpgent for the invite. And for anyone who actually made it through these, congratulations, you should get yourself a big cookie.
