The Bottom Line Good people are still out there!
People from all over Near and far Came and showed how wonderful they are I’ve never seen their faces but When it came to helping me out They covered all the bases Prayers went out They’re the most help There can be no doubt Good thoughts and best wishes Came in every day There were more than the ocean has fishes Though we may never meet I want you to know I think you are sweet You helped me pull through and If you’re ever blue I hope there’s something I can do This is just my way of saying thanks to everyone who helped cheer me up while I was waiting for my surgery. I can’t believe how kind and thoughtful you are. I am grateful for every review, story, poem, e-mail, thought and prayer that came my way. I’m not only grateful for everything you did for me but also for how much support was there for Dan. It’s hard to be somebody’s constant rock without cracking. I’m glad there were people for him to lean on. The surgery went well. There was a slight problem with my vitals when I came out but a couple prayers and some deep breathing brought me around right quick. I’m still sore but feeling better every day. I’m glad they sent me home the same day because Dan and Ryan are the best drugs around. The pain pills don’t make me giddy the way those two do. Well I’ll stop going on now.
