The Bottom Line It's all about me.
UPDATE!! I now have a boyfriend, a great job and only a year left of school. Life is good!
20 things about me:
1. A was born and raised in Metairie, LA. This city is about 10 miles from New Orleans yet I’ve only been to the French Quarter maybe 10 times in my entire life.
2. I am currently living in Katy, TX, which is about 30 miles west of Houston, TX. I have been living here for a year. The reason I moved was because my dad got a job transfer. I LOVE it here!
3. I am 22 and I am currently attending The University of Houston (Go Coogs!). This is by far the BEST school in Texas. So all those people in Texas should seriously look at UH as well as UT. The degree choice is endless. If you can’t find a major at UH, well then you can’t find a major anywhere.
4. My major is Management Information Systems. I graduate in Spring 2005.
5. I have had 3 majors so far, that is why I haven’t graduated yet. The majors I have had so far were Science, Communications, and now MIS.
6. I live with my parents. I have never experienced that “college life” everyone talks about with dorms and all. Always sounded gross to me. I don’t know about you, but in order for me to share living quarters with someone then I really really need to at least like them, much less have them be strangers that I hate!
7. I do not drive. How do I get around? My parents drive me. I have never had a car because I can’t afford it. My parents will not buy me a car of pay insurance and come on, how much does a college student make a year? Not much.
8. Speaking of jobs, I haven’t one. Yes, I am an unemployed student, who lives with her parents and does not drive. I’m starting to sound pathetic now. No but seriously, I really want to make good grades in college and in order to do that I need to study. In other words, I have no time for a job!
9. I LOVE computers. Think about it, a computer is like a puppet. They are incredibly stupid and I am the one that tells it how to act. I can’t wait to boss this little box around the rest of my life. Gives you a sense of control. Obviously you can now see why my major is MIS. If you ever hear anyone say that they hate computers because the computer isn’t working, tell them to hate the programmers.
10. Since I moved to Texas I haven’t met any friends! However, sometimes they look good then once you have them they make you sick. Kind of like cotton candy. So maybe I am better off without them.
11. I have a fear of throwing up. I have never been drunk ever just because I don’t want that hangover.
12. I have no boyfriend, however they are sometimes like friends. They seem good but then just aren’t. Plus I am one of those people who doesn’t have a boyfriend just because. I want one who will eventually marry me. I do not think I could devote 2 years of my life to someone just to have the relationship end. Gosh, I’d rather throw up before that happened.
13. I love candy. I have been on a Starburst craze since the beginning of the year. I don’t know what it is!
14. I have one sister who is my best friend. Couldn’t ask more than a friend for life.
15. I love Disney movies. My favorite is Beauty and the Beast. I have had some people tell me I look like Belle. Gosh, you should see my room. I have 130 Disney Mini Bean Bags all sitting on shelves in my room. You’d think I was 10.
16. I like older guys when I do have crushes. I had crush on Brad Pitt when I was 13 – he was about 28 when I was 13. Then I had a crush on Mulder from the X-Files when I was 15 – he was about 35 when I was 15. I had a crush on a guy who was 29 when I was 20. However, I have never dated anyone over 2 years older than me.
17. The teenybopper in me loves American Idol. However, I don’t vote.
18. I am getting $300 back from the IRS from when I worked in LA before the move. YAY!!! More money to waste on books for school!!!
19. I love country music and attending concerts. The attending concerts part does not happen often, due to money shortages.
20. I am high maintenance. If I did have a job all the money would go to me. If I could, I’d be one of those women who goes to the spa every week.
