I am currently wrestling with these fools over 2 renewal subscriptions. One of them has now expired, the other will soon, and NetMagazines has no answer for me, other than their standard, "I will investigate this matter and get back to you within 5-7 business days." On the second one, they are telling me they never received the funds for it, despite me providing them the actual PayPal info on the payment.
I am usually pretty savvy about internet purchases, and am a little embarassed that I did not do the research on these fools. I will work through my credit card company to retract the money for the first subscription, PayPal for the second, and the Washington BBB to blow the whistle on these crooks.
Updated 3/3: I turned this over to the Washington State BBB, and after a few days, they were able to get NetMagazines to credit my credit card for the money spent on the 2 subscriptions. I am still waiting to see this show up on the card, but it has probably been resolved.
If you are looking for a magazine subscription/renewal, without any hassles, stay far away from NetMagazines!!!
