Love mix (mostly rock)

The Bottom Line yeah...

These are my favorite "love" songs or whatever you want to call them. I didn't put them in any necessary order... and i'm sure I'll think of some more that I should have put on here. Oh well. Here goes:

1.“Glycerine” by Bush
This has to be one of the sexiest songs ever... Gavin’s voice is perfect and the song is so intense. This is my favorite make out song.

It must be your skin that I’m sinking in/ It must be for real, ‘cause now I can feel
I treated you bad, you bruise my face/ Couldn’t love you more, you’ve got a beautiful taste

2.“Deep Inside of You” by Third Eye Blind
This is about being so close to someone you don’t care about anything else.

Friends say I’ve changed/ I don’t listen/ ‘Cause I live to be deep inside of you/ Slide of her dress/ Shouts in darkness/ I’m so alive/ I’m deep inside of you/ You said boy make girl feel good
And I don’t wanna call you/ But then I wanna call you/ ‘Cause I don’t wanna crush you/ But I feel like crushin’ you/ And it’s true I took for granted you were with me/ I breath by your looks and you look right through me

3.“I Want You” by Third Eye Blind
Third Eye Blind is a very underrated band and this song from their first album has some of the most unique, sensual lyrics I’ve ever heard. The whole album has this sort of sensuality to it.

An open invitation to the dance/ Happenstance set the vibe that we are in/ No apology because my urge is genuine/ And the mystery of your rhythm is so feminine/ Here I am and I want to take a hit/ Of your scent cause it bit so deep into my soul/ I want you/ Yeah, you do you do.../ You make me want you

4.“How’s it Going to Be?” by Third Eye Blind
Yet another song by them... This is the perfect “get back together song” when you both can’t hold back your feelings anymore.

I wanna get myself back in again/ The soft dive of oblivion/ I wanna taste the salt of your skin/ The soft dive of oblivion/ How’s it gonna be when you don’t know me anymore?

5.“February Stars” by the Foo Fighters
The most underrated song on the Color and the Shape album. Doesn’t talk directly about love or anything (It might be about devotion) but once you listen to it you’ll know why it‘s on here. It’s really slow and soft at first but stay with it, it’s worth it at the end when he yells (very sexy...).

6.“Black” by Pearl Jam
Classic grunge... I love the passion in Eddie Vedder’s voice. This song is about remembering someone you’ve lost and wishing they were with you.

I know someday you'll have a beautiful life/ I know you'll be a star/ In somebody else's sky/ but why
Why, why can't it be, why can't it be mine?

7.“I Love You” by Sarah McLachlan
I’m not a big fan of hers, but this song is so beautiful. I first heard it on an episode of Roswell and it’s been one of my favorites since then.

oh and every time I'm close to you/ there's too much I can't say/ and you just walk away
and I forgot/ to tell you I love you/ and the night's too long/ and cold here without you

8.“Bed of Roses” by Bon Jovi
Call me cheesy but this is one of the best love songs of all times. THE perfect slow dance song.

When you close your eyse/ Know that I’m thinking about you
Tonight I won’t be alone/ But you know that don’t mean I’m not lonely
I’ve got nothing to prove/ For it’s you that I’d die to defend
I wanna lay you down on a bed of roses/ For tonight I sleep on a bed of nails/I wanna be just as close as the Holy Ghost is/ and lay you down on a bed of roses.

9."Alien" by Bush
Once again nothing gets me going like Gavin's voice...

And I swear to this/ She felt like velvet
She come to take me away/ It's all that I needed/ I don't breath another lover/ I'm an alien, you're an alien/ It's a beautiful rain, beatiful rain....

10. "Crash Into Me" by Dave Matthews Band
I am definitely not a fan of theirs, but this song is so simple and so sexy. "Crash" is so pretty you sometimes just listen to the music and forget what he's singing about.

You come crash into me/ And I come into you/ In a boy's dream

that's just the chorus, the whole song's good...

11. "Miss You Love" by Silverchair
Daniel Johns' voice is beautiful and so dang sexy... That's probably why this song is on the list. I would say "Anna's Song" instead of this one, but it's about anorexia, so that wouldn't work... but it is a great song...

12. "Got You (Where I Want You)" by The Flys
Another underrated one... Got a little bit of radio play a few years ago. This song turns me on...

13. "What Do I Have to Do" by Stabbing Westward
Damn... if you want to get me in the mood, play this. One of the few (sort of) goth bands I like. This song is incredibly sexy. Download it NOW :)

You make it hard to breath/ It's as if I'm suffocating/ And when you're next to me/ I can feel your heart beat through my skin/ It makes me sad to think/ This could all be for nothing/I wish there was a way/ A way for you to see inside me/ I've never felt this way/ About anyone or anything/ Tell me what do I have to do

14. "Inside You" by Stabbing Westward
The title says it all.

I feel your lips/ I taste your skin/ I need to know/ I need to feel you from within/ As your blood burns through my skin/ I feel complete/ I breath you in/ It's where you end and I begin

15. "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin
I'm a huge fan, and what can I say? this song is a classic... The psychedelic part towards the end is the best.

All them good times/ Baby, baby I've been yearnin'/ Way, way down inside, honey/ You need it/ I'm gonna give you my love

16. "RX Queen" by the Deftones
The only thing I can think of as to why this song turns me on is the way he uses his voice... I love it when he's practically whispering. Then again I love it when he's screaming...

17. "Butterfly" by Weezer
Probably no one will know why the heck this song is on here, maybe other Weezer fans will... Something about the innocence of it and River Cuomo's voice... dang. I heard someone say that girls practically get orgasms just listening to it. I wouldn't go that far... but nevertheless it's an awesome song.

18. "Josephine" by the Wallflowers
Gotta love Bob Dylan, and his son's band is great, too. Such a sweet song.

Josephine, you're so good to me/ and I know it ain't easy/ Josephine, you're so sweet/ You must taste just like sugar and tangerines

19. "Intro" or practically anything by Sigor Ros (especially from their Agaetis Byrjun album)
I don't know what they're singing about but their songs are so incredibly beautiful it doesn't matter. It's kinda dream-popish. So sensual...

20. "November Rain" by Guns 'n' Roses
Though extremely long, you can't get a better sob song than this. A Classic...

Some other songs that are great are "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel, "Sparks" by Coldplay, "I Remember You" by Skid Row, "Angel" by Aerosmith, "Lovefool" by the Cardigans, "Move On" by the Rentals, and "Free Fallin'" by Tom Petty.
