No but I have seen a place that serves their blueberry ale with blueberries in it.

Question: Does this ale actually contain blueberries?

Nice Pair (Reply to this comment)

Two great beers for warm weather, to be sure. I love Blueberry ales, I think the fruit works perfectly with pale malts. I haven't had SLO's in a while but I remember it being a very good brew. In New England I drank a lot of Seadog Bluepaw and draft blueberry ales at Boston Beer Works and Coddington Brewpub. They both would put berries in the beer and they would float up and down in the glass, seemingly riding the carbonation.
The most "Blueberryish" blueberry ale I can recall is Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale from Maine. That might just be my favorite. Here in Georgia, Sweetwater Blue is a summer staple in my beer fridge.
Thanks for putting me in a blue state of mind!
Cheers!

I heard a couple of months ago that Firestone beers were brewed by SLO. How confusing.
Cheers

I believe Firestone-Walker purchased SLO's brewing facility in Paso Robles.

Nice Review (Reply to this comment)

I'm usually not a fan of fruit beers either, but according to your review, it sounds like I might like the blueberry ale. It's the syrupy sweetness I dislike but you make this sound like a light and enjoyable ale.
Cheers!
