A Left Beer Turn and I'm in Ruddles County
by MiDoyle | Apr 24 '03
Ruddles County is best suited for fans of the traditional English Ale style only, one with subdued malt characteristics and a dry hoppy finish.

Beerlover: The train has its moments, but commuting 3 hours a day gets to be a drag. Thankfully there's a beer involved once in awhile. I don't envy those on the Beltway that's for sure. cheers

Dave: I'm still a beer novice. I give it my best shot (Beerlover, 4-1-1, Proxam, Andaryl and others teach me a lot here). My beer descriptions are nowhere near as exact as I would like them to be. It's hard to search for the right word. There is only one Michael Jackson that counts and his books are worth reading by any beer lover.

Yes, NJ Transit trains can be a fun ride, especially on Friday nights when a cold beer and a hot pretzel makes all the difference to starting the weekend right.

cheers

learn your complex palate descriptions? Interesting. Must be one of those elective college courses I missed back in engineering school.

BTW, you may want to explain to the car-centric across the US that a 90 minute commute while drinking a fine ale is entirely legal in an area like NJ with a large public transit network.

Best regards
Dave
