Stay Away-Problems from Day 1

Based on advise from a friend, I purchased a gift certificate to Intelliflix for my brother this past Christmas. He always seemed interested in my husband's Netflix subscription and I thought this would be similar and give him the opportunity to rent video games as well as movies. We had nothing but problems from the first day I purchased to gift.
Problem 1: I wasn't sure that my request had gone through until I found charge appeared on my credit card statement.
Problem 2: When my brother went to redeem the gift certificate he needed to add his own credit card information. I purposely read the terms and conditions of the gift certificate very carefully to make sure that this was not mentioned. I did not want him to be automatically charged for additional time once the initial subscription expired.
Problem 3: The code on his gift certificate showed up as invalid.
Problem 4- In an attempt to resolve problem #3 I searched the site for a customer support number. They offer NO PHONE SUPPORT. I filled out the online support request and THEY NEVER REPLIED.
Problem 5- I sent a letter to the CEO of the company complaining that we had not received service, about 10 days later they called my brother and told him the problem had been resolved and the gift certificate could be redeemed at any time. They never contacted me directly even though I am the one who wrote the letter.
Problem 6- Despite reassurance from the company that the problem had been resolved, the gift certificate could still not be redeemed.
Problem 7- I again contacted the CEO and asked for a refund to my credit card. I got no response!
Resolution- I had my credit card company dispute the charge because I had not received service. I had my refund within 48 hours but never heard from the company directly.
