Okay, I'm crashing Prelude99's party, but I figured if there's one thing I like to do, it's talk about myself, so I'll bite. And I do bite. Here are my answers to 16 questions he posed in his mess he started right here: http://www.epinions.com/content_3267076228 . 1. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER OF EPINIONS? Since December 26th, 2000. It was the day after Christmas, I was stuck at work and thinking about all the cool toys I wished I was playing with, and thought I'd check out this Epinions place that a friend had been nagging me to visit. 543 reviews later, I'm glad I did. 2. WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING? I'm in my final year of school at the University of Utah, where I'm getting degrees in History Teaching, German Teaching, and Secondary Education. I also work 40+ hours a week for the slavery department of a corporation I don't like, don't respect, and doesn't pay me enough. But I get to goof off online. It's all a trade off. 3. FAVORITE FOOD? My wife's homemade salsa; my own Quinn's Special Eggs for breakfast; Pizza and Mashed Potatoes are always good comfort foods. I'm allergic to carrots and Froot Loops. 4. MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT? Too many to name--I've run into mirrors in department stores, gotten my head caught in an escalator, had underwear come flying out of my pant leg in the middle of campus, and farted on the head of a co-worker. Sooo...I'm just in a state of constant embarrassment, and there's not much to do about it but quietly accept it. 5. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TOPICS TO WRITE ABOUT ON EPINIONS? Muppets, Toys, Books, Movies. I don't deviate much from those categories, and when I do, I quickly show how little I know about (for example, cars) other things, and retreat back to my own annoying little niche. 6. NAME A FEW THINGS YOU CAN'T STAND WHATSOEVER: Intolerance, the inequities of our society, and dental plaque. 7. HOBBIES? I've got a million of them. My favorites are reading, drawing, hiking, and collecting and making toys. I've got over 700 Fisher Price Little People that I've made into my favorite characters from books, movies, tv shows, etc...if you're interested, visit my lame website. I've also got a Rubber Duckie who goes everywhere with me. 8. WHAT KIND OF CAR DO YOU DRIVE? Blue 1934 Geo Metro, AKA The Podracer. 9. WORST TIME YOU GOT INTO TROUBLE WHEN YOU WERE A KID? I was never in trouble because I never got caught. 10. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ON TV? IF SO, WHAT FOR? I've been on tv three times with my Fisher Price Little People (and in the newspapers three times), in the newspapers another time because I have a cute baby, and on tv again as a contestant on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE TO LISTEN TO? U2 Muppets Peter, Paul & Mary Simon & Garfunkel Dave Matthews Band The Beatles That's It. 12. WHAT CD WOULD YOUR FRIENDS BE SURPRISED THAT YOU OWN? I have no secrets. 13. SHOES OR SANDALS? Depends on what's going on, although I do have more pairs of shoes, and incredibly ugly feet, so I'm more likely to be seen wearing shoes. 14. WHERE DO YOU BUY MOST OF YOUR CLOTHES? Old Navy, Target, American Eagle, Ross....you know, stores... 15. HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY FAMOUS PEOPLE? Well, I met Meredith Vieira, host of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire," and "The View"...Wil Wheaton AKA Wesley Crusher e-mailed me, and so did Bob Denver AKA Gilligan...but I didn't technically meet them. And back in the day before my wife saved me, I went to plenty o' Star Trek conventions, and "met" some of the Star Trek actors there--I don't know how much that counts. 16. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE TV SHOWS? Current Top Five: Smallville, Friends, Sesame Street, Trading Spaces, Justice League Past Top Five: Muppet Show, MASH, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Seinfeld, Batman: The Animated Series I guess that's it...thanks for the chance to talk about myself and let y'all get to know me better.
