| Javelina's Full Review: Febreze Air Effects |
We have tried quite a few air fresheners. First we were in a small apartment, then we bought a house and have three bathrooms and a cat. With a half bath right when you come inside the house, we wanted a nice air freshener.
After trying many brands of air fresheners Febreze, Glade, Wisp, etc., as well as many types (sprays, plug-ins, etc.), we decided to try Febreze Air Effects. I usually find this product at the grocery store or places like Target, and our can was about $3.50.
Enjoy a fresh experience by eliminating odors in the air, rather than just covering them up. With Febreze Air Effects, its easy to create a fresh, inviting feeling throughout your home.
Febreze Air Effects
Febreze Air Effects comes in a can with a top that has a nozzle you simply depress a lever to deliver an ongoing mist of Febreze. There are nine scents to choose from, including Linen & Sky, Meadows & Rain, Spring & Renewal, Citrus & Light, Blossoms & Breeze, Summer & Splash, Rocky Springs & Cool, Apple Spice & Delight, and Berries & Paradise. Each can has a nice design to reflect the scent.
My Thoughts & Experiences
We chose the scent Meadows & Rain, which the Febreze website describes as, Picture an early summer morning: the dew on the ground, the crisp, refreshing, early morning aroma of the outdoors. Like a clean breeze for your home, Meadows & Rain will make your whole house feel as fresh, airy and clean as the first morning dew.
I like the appearance of the container, which does not look like a traditional air freshener. I think the bottle is actually fairly attractive, as it looks sleek and modern, and I like the design. It has a nozzle that points upwards, and the way that you would naturally grasp the bottle puts your fingers right on the trigger. You simply push the trigger and the bottle produces a mist no need for pumping.
The scent comes out in a very fine mist, and doesnt smell too overpowering. The Meadows & Rain scent is very fresh, without smelling like weve doused the bathroom or wherever with perfume. Its nice because you dont need a whole lot a little goes a long way you just need to spray a little to treat odors. The mist is also fine enough that it is dispersed well, and doesnt leave droplets on surfaces.
As for treating odors I would say this is the best air freshener we have tried. It doesnt just add fragrance to a bad scent, but it really does treat it. It was a huge concern for us to have something to use in our half bath since it is by the front door, and I will definitely continue to purchase this product. I really like the scent, and when we purchase more, I will try some of the other scents. It seems like there is a good variety of scents to choose from, and I am looking forward to trying them.
Overall
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this product tackles odors. It doesnt just add fragrance to a room, and instead is pretty effective in getting rid of smells. I like the fine mist and not needing a ton of spray to cover odors. And we really like the scent, so not only does it leave rooms smelling fresh, it leaves behind a nice scent.
