I have no relationship with Sunbelt Software, but am just really impressed with this product. Windows XP has come a long way from Windows NT, and the impact is not as great now, but this product does squeeze out every little bit of performance available from the computer. Windows by is nature is very inefficient, and this product helps boost the efficiency. It's especially noticeable on legacy systems. I was able to run a 200MHz Pentium 1 laptop running Windows 2000 into the ground (it finally died in 2003). AutoPilot made it useable. Without it, the laptop was unbearably slow.

I can't help wondering if Sunbelt Software put this review up themselves, to get people to buy their product. I'm skeptical that adding another layer of software will benefit performance as they claim, especially since they claim that while Windows is generic and will run on any PC, their software improves performance by providing Windows with a specific entry into the hardware of your machine. But Sunbelt's software doesn't know anything more than Windows about the hardware, so how can that claim be true? I'd like to see some real online reviews, only I can't find any.
