16 things W/O.May 10 '03 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line Did you really want to know any of these? I think I am getting the bug for these write offs. Here is the latest one, John hosted. 1. How long have you been a member of Epinions? Since October 2,000. How time flies. 2. What do you do for a living? I did retire after we sold the restaurant, but couldn't stay at home. I work with the elderly, for an agency, as a caregiver. I stay overnight mainly with people who have alzheimers. I also play music in 2 assisted living facilities. 3. Favorite food? English fish'n'chips. Shepherds pie. Sherry trifle. English back bacon. Roll on August/September, when I go back for a visit. 4. Most embarrassing moment? I can't even think of one. Some very funny ones, that I wrote in my underwear W/O. 5. What are your favorite topics to write about on Epinions? Restaurants, travel, especially parks, and health. Perhaps that is why I received my advisers status in these. 6. Name a few things that you cant stand whatsoever: Being in a room with people smoking. 7. Hobbies? Swimming, walking, aerobics, playing my organ, going to Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, Disney Parks. Epinions. 8. What kind of car do you drive? What color is it? Pontiac Grand Prix. Jet black. 9. Worst time you got into trouble when you were a kid? Wish I could remember that far back. Actually I was a good child. 10. Have you ever been on TV? If so, what for? Yes, our local channel 8 came to our restaurant, and spent the day with us. They then featured us on the evening news. "A quaint little restaurant owned by Englanders". Can you believe it. 11. What kind of music do you like to listen to? Anything that is Elvis. Rock'n'roll, I'm talking 1950's and 60's. Carpenters, Queen, Simon and Garfunkel. 12. What CD would your friends be surprised that you own? Guns and Roses. 13. Shoes or sandals? Sneakers. 14. Where do you buy most of your clothes? I buy a lot when I visit England each year. Otherwise, Ross, T.J. Maxx, and Bealls. 15. Have you ever met any famous people? If so, who? I have met several English entertainers and actors, who live in Florida. Johnny Briggs lives just up the road from me. Jasper Carrot is a very good friend of ours. (He is a comedian/actor in England). My husband Len, drove the Queens sister and cousin, while in the Royal Air Force. 16. What are your favorite TV shows? Eastenders, every Saturday afternoon on BBC America. Then American Idol, I got to see the first Pop Idol in England. My daughter taped the whole thing for me. Survivor, 3rd watch and E.R.
