The Bottom Line You could probably write your own biography of me by now...

By now, you should all know that I'm a sucker for write-offs. So here I am, crashing Prelude99's write-off, which basically gives you (me?) a chance to answer 16 questions about myself. Here goes.

1. How long have you been a member of Epinions?

I unwittingly celebrated my 1st anniversary at Epinions almost a month ago (April 20th. No one reminded me!

2. What do you do for a living?

Until two weeks ago, I was a manager at a major New York-area consumer electronics/music retailer. Now, I'm an assistant merchandiser for another music/movies retailer.

3. Favorite food?

I can't focus on one, but a hamburger is good any time, all the time. Or a nice stack of pancakes.

4. Most embarrassing moment?

Would you believe I can't think of anything? My most RECENT embarrassing moment was wiping out down the staiirs at my local subway station on Christmas Day. Thankfully, the person in front of me fell as well so I just landed conveniently on my tushy right next to them.

5. What are your favorite topics to write about on Epinions?

I write about strictly music. i've thrown in a couple of concert reviews and a couple of music DVD reviews but music is what I know and love..and I stick with it.

6. Name a few things that you can’t stand whatsoever:

Hmmm..this list could go on forever, but I'll go with the following things I absolutely loathe: musical snobs, dishonest/vengeful/spiteful people, hypocrites, seafood (shrimp aside), milk (i'm intolerant), and people who gleefully rub the fact that I can't eat ice cream in my face :(

7. Hobbies?

Uh, movies, music, sports (baseball & basketball especially), swimming (but you can't find a pool in New York City), romantic walks through the pa...hey, wait a minute! This isn't a personal ad! Although I will take requests if anyone wants to go out with me! (pic is in profile).

8. What kind of car do you drive? What color is it?

I am a proud rider of the New York City public transportation system. i can't even drive and I'm almost 27. Ain't that a shame?

9. Worst time you got into trouble when you were a kid?

Probably a toss-up between the time my grandmother called the cops to pick me up from school after I allegedly stole 100 bucks from her (I actually didn't take it), and the time I got busted cramming porn magazines into my New York Times at the local bodega.

10. Have you ever been on TV? If so, what for?

I was on public-access TV when I was little. Some stupid spelling bee.

11. What kind of music do you like to listen to?

I will listen to absolutely anything. My tastes are fairly eclectic and my CD collection boasts everything from Nina Simone to The Dixie Chicks to A Tribe Called Quest to Rancid to New Kids On The Block.

12. What CD would your friends be surprised that you own?

I don't think anything I own is shocking enough to make people go "Oh sh--!". Despite my extreme hatred for both of them, I have 50 Cent and Ja Rule CD's. That's pretty embarrassing...but I got 'em for free.

13. Shoes or sandals?

It is my firm belief that most men should not wear sandals. My feet will not be exposed to the world.

14. Where do you buy most of your clothes?

Any sporting goods store will do, since my off-work wardrobe generally consists of T-shirts, jerseys, shorts or jeans. Everything else I get at Old Navy or The Gap.

15. Have you ever met any famous people? If so, who?

I've actually seen or met my fair share in person. Let's see who I can remember: Seal, Prince, Meshell Ndegeocello, Brandy, Busta Rhymes, Jermaine Dupri, Rosie O' Donnell, Alec Baldwin & Kim Basinger (together), Judge Reinhold, Clive Davis, Freddie Jackson, Dr. Ruth, Fat Joe, Big Pun, LL Cool J, Missy Elliott, Rahzel from The Roots, Tracy Morgan from SNL, Tony Bennett, Peter Jennings, Tweet, Henry Rollins, Paul Simon...and that's just the tip of my memory bank. It's nice being a New Yorker.

16. What are your favorite TV shows?

Current: South Park, The Chappelle Show, King of Queens, Six Feet Under, SNL, Raymond, Frasier...

All-Time: Seinfeld, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court, Growing Pains, Facts of Life, Married...With Children, The Wonder Years, WKRP, Three's Company (you get the idea...I'm a sitcom fanatic)

Anyway, as usual, it's been a blast sharing. Check out prelude99's other participants in this cool write-off, as they are listed in his profile.
