Thanks for your kind words, Virginia. I think Aron's thesis is pretty on the mark. I am never one to simplify things to one end all point, that is why I think Aron's points are quite valid.

It is an interesting theory that Raymond Aron brings forth. It seems to me that technology is something that happens with the passage of time, and the world and mind-sets of people have to accept it. This is an excellent review of Aron's thoughts. You are a very bright young man - I am interested in what you think about the analysis, and how it should be dealt with.
