How long have you been a member of Epinions? I am still young at heart and have been here since January. What do you do for a living? I have not been employed since 1979. But I do many things to earn my keep! I have been a professional volunteer for years. Raising my daughter has been my main concern for the last twenty years. And thankfully, at 20, she still needs me! Favorite food? I adore goat cheese, really good pesto (preferably served with the goat cheese, proscuitto, lobster, caviar, and CHAMPAGNE! Most embarrassing moment? I have had quite a few of those special moments. But as recent as this past January, I was basking in the sun at the Ritz Carlton, Jamaica, and decided to go for a dip in the pool. I rose from my lounge chair in my very stylish La Perla swimsuit, and strutted across the perimeter of the pool toward the stairs. My husband and his sister were waiting for me and both had looks of shock on their faces. I had my swim suit on inside out, of all things, with that lovely crotch liner hanging like a pocket....you know where! So much for being fashionable. What are your favorite topics to write about on Epinions? I write mostly about Hotels and restaurants. I would, however, enjoy writing about beauty products, but none of my lines are in the data base. Name a few things that you can’t stand whatsoever I can't stand to be falsely accused! This has happened to me two times in my life and I have lost two friends because of it. I also abhor rudeness! I am overly polite, and it seems that most of the world is not! And don't get me started on bad drivers! I think that IQ tests should be given before licenses are issued. Hobbies? The computer takes up quite a bit of my time. My husband and I breed and race horses. And I enjoy making luxury gift baskets. Someday this may become a business instead of a hobby. What kind of car do you drive? What color is it? I drive a 1999 white Jaguar XJR it is elegant a does everything I ask it to do. Sometimes, I sneak a drive in my husbands 2002 Porsche 911 turbo. Worst time you got into trouble as a kid? In 8th grade, on Halloween night, I joined about 20 kids in egging the nun's house. The next school day, the principal of the school demanded to know who was responsible, or the entire school would be punished. I was the only kid that fessed up, and therefore the only kid to be punished! I had to clean the nuns home for 6 months every Saturday. Have you ever been on TV? If so, what for? Yes, I have. My husband and I are on frequently due to the horse business. What kind of music do you like to listen to? I like a wide selection of music. Sade is my absolute favorite though. What CD would your friends be surprised that you own? Nothing...my friends know that I have a wide selection. Shoes or Sandals? Both, of course. What you won't find me wearing is tennis shoes unless I am playing tennis or working out. Where do you buy most of your clothes? Escada, Neiman Marcus, and Filene's. Have you ever met any famous people? If so,who? Yes, many. Funny thing is that my husband looks just like Stephen Segal (really) so we have had many famous people come up to us, and introduce themselves in restaurants and on the streets. It's really very funny. What are your favorite TV shows? I NEVER sit down to watch a program except for The Soprano's. But my friends would be shocked to know that I love The Osbourns too!
