Pros:Best bang for $100 Ever
Cons:?????
The Bottom Line: Excellent all-in-one cam... what can i say

Excellent all-in-one cam!!!
This is definitely the BEST webcam Logitech has ever made.I needed a replacement which performed well in low-light conditions and which would take good quality stills pictures.
I am happy to report that I am DELIGHTED with the QuickCam!!! If you've ever used a Logitech webcam before and been very displeased, be prepared for a shock - the QuickCam is actually very good!!! It's low-light performance is spectacular. When used as a webcam in my room at night, the picture is every bit as clear and bright as during the daytime! As an even more graphic example, I can turn-off the light and the cam will pick-up the display on myDVD player in an otherwise pitch-black room! All this is accomplished with the cam's Low-Light Boost feature. The only trade-off is that fast movement appears somewhat blurry due to the longer exposure time. This isn't someting you'd notice unless you waved at the WebCam.As a digital still cam, I was AMAZED as well!!! The pictures from the QuickCam are better than those I get from my 35mm camera!!! Also, don't be put off by the camera lacking a flash .. in most cases, you don't need it.

The Software bundle leaves nothing out. It is reported to be the best in the webcam business, and I'm inclined to agree. As a webcam, the "low-light boost" and "color enhancement" options can turn out incredible pics with a 40W.I give this WebCam " two thumbs up ," and recommend it to anyone who just wants a quick, cheap camera that takes great pics for the web or email. If you want a camera that will replace your 35mm, consider the cost of film developing versus the cost of a good 35mm replacement.
