I will admit that I get laughed at by my twenty-something friends when I (also a twenty-something) confess that I am a little bit of a QVC addict. Now, I'm not talking about the kind of addict that makes a couple impulse buys every day, I'm the more mild manner addict who just constantly checks in with the station to see what's for sale and what's the day's special value. I find the voices to be great white noise when I'm doing chores. So even though I watch the channel quite a bit, I can count the number of purchases I've actually made from QVC in the 3 years I've been a viewer on just one hand. And all except the first time I bought something, I always use the online store. It has everything right there for you, including any special auto-delivery options or different colors. You can go into the website and check in advance what is going to be shown or what has already been aired during the program you're watching. You can also check what other shows are coming up or what other shows have been shown during the day. In addition to finding the item that is on air, you can find any other item in the QVC inventory. So, for instance, if you see a nice pot on air, you can go check online and find all the other pots in the same company line, a luxury that is not usually available in the on-air presentation. Also, the buying process is so much quicker than calling, waiting for an operator to take your call and then giving them all your necessary details. You can save all your information in the system and when you come back for a repeat purchase it takes all of about 30 seconds to make your buy (which might be a bad thing if you are one of those addicts that buys tons of stuff all the time).
