Pros:Gorgeous overall sound, nice price
Cons:Midbass is slightly flat sounding, need to be amplified near or over RMS
The Bottom Line: Get these, they sound great and the cost is superb for what you get.

I carefully decided on buying these speakers. I did a lot of research and found these to be very highly recommended. After I heard these speakers the first time, I realized that they were excellent. The tweeter has a pretty sound that doesn't "scream" in your ear. The midrange speaker is good. They don't distort too easily, at least not without raising the volume quite a bit. The only unfortunate part I would say about these speakers is that the midrange is a bit flat. This could be possibly solved by adding a 6 1/2" midrange with a 3 way crossover(they do offer a 6 1/2" or 8" midrange speaker for this purpose).

You also need to make sure you run these near, at, or over RMS. I have them at about 75 watts at 14.4 volts. They sound great at this power. From what i've heard, these sound even better if you have even more wattage running through them. I installed them inside a 2000 Mazda Protege. In fact they include, 5x7/6x8 rings for those Mazdas and Fords.
