I really should buy some stock in Target, based on how often I visit their B&M retail stores. And then I had to discover that they also have an online store. Oh man. I like Target's online store, but it certainly isn't going to replace my weekly B&M store visits. For one thing, there is only so much available online. They have a pretty good selection of clothes, shoes, accessories, furniture and electronics, but there is a lot of stuff, like food, crafting supplies, cosmetics and drugstore basics that you are unable to get off the online store.
I primarily use the online store to shop for clearance clothing. I have found really good deals on clothing that are either no longer available or just not yet on sale in store. I am talking about $20 turtleneck cashmere sweaters and cute loafers for $13 and sunglasses discounted from $20 to $5. There are some really great deals if you know where to look (clearance!).
However, that said, finding where to look on the Target website is sometimes a difficult task. They really don't have a very good search function and sometimes if you are searching in one section and check out an item, they throw you back to a completely different section when you try to continue shopping. Also, shipping prices are pretty high (8-12 bucks for a $50-75 order for me on average), but they every once and a while have free shipping codes. There are usually codes floating around out there for at least %10 off your order, too, so make sure to doublecheck before submitting your final order. You can, though, return your order to local stores, but you have to print out a return receipt from your web account before you go.
