| Donnie013's Full Review: Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Bleach |
What is the worst job in the house?
I would have to say cleaning the toilet. After all, who would want to look at those unsightly rings that form around the water line - NOT TO MENTION
well, lets not mention it.
Yet, whether or not we want to clean the porcelain fixture we find so necessary to use, we also find it necessary to clean. (If not for appearance sake, then definitely for health and odor reasons.)
While there are so many cleansers on the market, the one that always rings true to clean and disinfect is CLOROX TOILET BOWL CLEANER WITH BLEACH.
This stuff isnt like the other thin liquids that immediately slide down the sides of the bowl and sit on the bottom waiting for you to stick you brush down and swirl it around.
Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Bleach actually coats the bowl and encourages you to brush it away, thus cleaning the porcelain.
If you read the label on the plastic bottle, youll learn that Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Bleach:
*leaves the bowl bleach-clean
*clings to the bowl for a deep-down clean
*removes stains
*sanitizes the bowl
*deodorizes
*and its safe for plumbing
Its a snap to use.
First, flush the toilet.
Now twist the cap (it wont come off, but will turn just enough to allow the cleaner with bleach to come through its opening).
Place bottle top below the rim holding the bottle upside down.
Squeeze and squirt the cleaner under the rim and around the bowl.
Let it stand a few minutes to allow it to begin working.
Brush under the rim and the sides of the bowl.
Flush to rinse.
Be sure to rinse the brush, too. Since this does contain bleach, it will erode the brush if you dont.
What I like the most about Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Bleach is that it works hard enough to clean my toilet so I dont have to. Never did, never will, but this stuff sure makes it easier (although still not enjoyable - well, almost)
It comes in two scents: Fresh and Rain and both are guaranteed to kill 99% of household germs.
Naturally, there are precautions. Remember there is bleach in here so:
If you get it in your eyes, rinse with cool water for 15-minutes
If swallowed, drink a glass water
It MAY cause skin irritation.
If any treatment fails or irritation persists, contact poison control or your local emergency facility immediately.
Also, since as the names says, it contains bleach, do not mix with other household cleansers.
Im really impressed with this stuff. Living in Florida often causes hard water stains around the bowl. Using the Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Bleach, I dont worry about them anymore. Mainly because theyre not there anymore.
