Hi!

Thanks for sharing about Zoe and your pet! It can be a challenge for animals when children enter the scene. I am so thankful that our cats are especially good with kids.

Take care!

Thanks for the comment! We were thankful to acquire Boots, and although there have been sibling issues (with his 'brother' Buster), he continues to bless us with his little 'kisses' and such. Take care!

Oh I love how much you love your cats. We have a cat from a no-kill shelter as well, and she was our first baby. We were so worried about how she'd respond to the new baby-and everyone said once we had our "real" baby we wouldn't care about Princess anymore. Not true-we love her still and work hard to make sure she knows that she is loved and important to us even thought Zoë has invaded her home!! Luckily everything is good-Princess is not scared of Zoë and hiding all day (our one fear) nor is she mean to Zoë )our second fear).

THanx for a lovely essay about loving animals and the work involved in caring for them!

I love cats, too! I only have two, though. But we still treat them like part of the family. It's so cool you got your one cat from a no kill shelter!

Hi John!

I appreciate the time you took to share with regard to SammySosa (my sincere condolences) and
Jackson Piddle!

And... thank you for the time you spend with Little League. It has certainly been a blessing to see the level of commitment from volunteers.

Take care and Hugs~~~

Hi Pat!

Thank you for the expression of concern and for sharing with regard to cats. You are very correct about feline leukemia. We had our 1st cat (acquired as a kitten) immunized, even though we knew his time would be mostly indoors. Prior to adopting Boots, they tested him, and we immunized him. Regardless there time outdoors is limited. :)

Take care and Hugs~~~ Lisa

What a great review about your little family members! You share our feelings about our two kittens, they are family members. SammySosa died a few years ago but inside, he was thankful we saved him from the shelter, he was my kitty. Jackson Piddle feels the same way but he's Mrs Duckling's cat. He never leaves her side, anywhere anytime!
Thanks for volunteering your time with the Little League! Helping boys and girls enjoy a wonderful sport is excellent. If only some parents knew how much fun LL Baseball is, maybe they would not be so quick to run to soccer! Have a great weekend. John

you're restricting your cats' outdoor time. Prolonged exposure to the outdoors might lead to a case of feline leukemia. My old neighbor had a cat who loved the outdoors, and she let him out on a chained leash, much like you do. The cat fell ill with leukemia, and soon died. My cats love the outdoors, but that's just one of the many worries I have about letting them enjoy themselves outside. I take them out sometimes, but I never let them out on their own. I hope that your guys have a long, healthy life, just like my older cat. Thanks for sharing!
Sincerely, Pat

cat lovin' household here too. Hubby found out he had to adjust to me and cats or else, LOL.

The most cats we had was 25 at one time bout 2 years ago...now we have 4 cats 2 dogs. And it's staying that way. Found out we have more money when were not buying 25 plus pounds of food a week on cats. Not including kitty litter and kitten milk.

Take care. Enjoy your long weekend.

this weekend my Boyz 3 year anniversary of when he came into my life out of a horrible rainstorm... he was so tiny and fit into the palm of my hand..His mother had been killed by a neighbors dog..it's long story, one I wrote about a while back but we (I) always celebrate our mutual affection on memorial day weekend, my Luke and I :)...My other cats weren't happy at this but now everything is just fine...

Great review,
Barbara
