The Bottom Line Nothing earth shattering. Just more of a whaddya know thing.

Without getting all mushy and introspective about myself (I already paid a shrink for all that nearly 20 years ago), I offer 20 interesting factoids about Elyzabeth-Anne.

1) I sang with the Youth of America Singers at Notre Dame in Paris when I was 18.

2) My daughter (who is 4) bites her toenails (like I did when I was 4).

3) I have worked for pay (babysitting doesn't count) since I was 14 and have performed all of these duties (and more) as an employee:

Dairy Dipper
Fast Order Cook
Barmaid
Waitress
Cocktail Waitress
Mini-golf/Driving Range Attendant
Chambermaid
Theatre Usher
Sporting Goods Retail
Clothing Store Retail
Convenience Store Clerk
Deli Clerk
Radio Board Operator
Radio Copywriter
Radio DJ
US Senator Staff Assistant
Radio Services Coordinator
Radio Creative Director
Classified Ad Customer Service
Newspaper Special Sales
Advertising Media Assistant
Mayorial Campaign Headquarters Coordinator
Mortgage Closing Representative
Freelance writer

I think that's all of it.

4) I am a Canadian citizen who is a registered permanent alien of the US.

5) I mourn the loss of the Old Man of the Mountain.

6) My right breast is bigger than my left and it drives me nuts trying to find a bra that fits.

7) In my immediate family, my brother is the most intelligent, my older sister is the hardest worker, my younger sister the most humorous and I am the most compassionate.

8) I love to dance, but married a man who doesn't. I'd dance with my daughters, but it takes a little bit of tequila to get me going... so it's not such a wise idea.

9) I don't much like writing epinions anymore and have unfortunately discovered Ebay.

10) I drove a tractor at the age of 11.

11) I danced with a man called Bingo. The band on stage was Sexexecs. I was wearing a black beaded dress and a used car salesman like red plaid blazer. That night, I was the sexiest I ever was and ever will be again. It was magical. It was fleeting. It was a special moment meant to last one night.

12) I married my best friend. He is gruff and pointy. I am soft and bending. We fit together well. Sometimes he makes me gruff and pointy. Usually, I make him soft and bending. I always drive in heavy traffic and he reads. He likes playing with the kids right before bedtime and I don't know why that should make me mad but it does ("They should be in bed by 8:30! It's a school night!") Most often, though, what makes him the catch of the day, is that he cries (but won't admit to it) when he sees stories about abused children. And then he goes to his own and stays with them for a while, until their breathing becomes steady and their eyelids evenly spread.

I think that qualifies as an item about me because I am not whole without him. Even after 14 years we are still learning about one another. I love him.

13) I tutored adults in Shakespeare when I was in high school.

14) It is a cliche, but having children changed my life forever. I sometimes wish I were more patient with them. I know I yell too much. But many, many people have said I am a great mom. I hope they're right. It is my number one priority.

15) I miss the smell of "dittos".

16) My mom is my best friend.

17) My dad is my angel. He died but is in my children. That's why I always cry when I listen to "The Living Years"

18) I was a poor excuse for a punk rocker and regret my youthful ignorance for ever having donned a swastika on my clothing.

19) I like to mow lawns but discovered I am horribly allergic to cut grass. Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

20) I am a TV junky who requires a great deal of energy to pull herself away from the boob tube. I can even watch QVC. It is genetic, I fear. My 7 year old can watch the local weather over and over again, oblivious to the world around her.

(This is in response to a write off that has long since ended, but I couldn't resist. It was started by Corpgent, and as you can see, it's got quite a set of legs on it. Dozens upon dozens responded. Here is the link: http://www.epinions.com/content_3202850948)
