The following are 16 ultra personal questions that I'm only answering due to Prelude99's sweet charm, not because of the beautiful houseboat I am getting for answering these questions. 1. How long have you been a member of Epinions? I have been a member of Epinions for about 18 months (Since November 2001). Prior to becoming a member here I visited the site quite often, so I have been an unofficial member for much longer. 2. What do you do for a living? I write reviews at Epinions.com for a living... (kidding). I'm actually in-between jobs as we speak, though I enjoy working at casinos as a blackjack dealer. 3. Favorite food? Anything with real lobster; I would eat lobster ice cream if Ben & Jerry's would be so generous to produce it. 4. Most embarrassing moment? I once laughed so hard I peed my jeans in a very public place (you asked). 5. What are your favorite topics to write about on Epinions? Autos & Motorsports and Online Stores & Services. I like writing about automobiles for a few reasons, most notably so I can (in a way) relive/share my driving experience (s). Writing about online stores & services is just fun. I enjoy how relaxing it is to write an online store review. I do have my gripes though; read on. 6. Name a few things/people that you can't stand whatsoever: I can't stand Will Smith, Donald Trump, Jada Pinkett Smith, Kid Rock, Dodge Neons, Ford Tauruses, HP digital cameras, and Trim Spa. 7. Hobbies? I enjoy Driving, writing, jogging, gambling, swimming, sun bathing, traveling, eating good food.... 8. What kind of car do you drive? What color is it? I drive two cars right now. Car '1' is a modified laser red '91 Geo Storm Wagonback 5-speed. It is lowered 2", has 16" chrome wheels, new paint, stripped Geo logos replaced with GSI logos, dark tint windows, a modified 1.8 transplant from a '93 GSI (horsepower unknown, but the engine produced 140 horsepower before it was modified, so I'm guessing about 190 now), GSI suspension, Magna Flow exhaust, custom made ground effects all around with integrated fog lamps in the front. My other car is a red '98 Dodge Neon Highline Coupe; no modifications (yet). I now drive a 2004 Honda Civic LX. I hope to be the owner of a 2005 Acura RSX Type-S 6-speed by next year 9. Worst time you got into trouble when you were a kid? When I was 12 or 13 a few friends of mine and I accidentally caught a local forest on fire using illegal firecrackers. That entire summer I had to stay in my bedroom with steel bars on my window. 10. Have you ever been on TV? If so, what for? Nope, never. 11. What kind of music do you like to listen to? Right now I mostly listen to popular music, i.e. music by Tori Amos, Gwen Stefani, No Doubt, Stevie Nicks, Mariah Carrey, The Killers, Rob Thomas, NIN, Lucious Jackson, Veruca Salt. There was a time, however, (early 1990s) when I was only into non MTV punk music, such as Crass, Toy Dolls, Rudimentary Peni, Etc. Yes, I was once a music snob. 12. What CD would your friends be surprised that you own? Dolly Parton's older music always amazes them. They are also amazed that I listen to Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac. 13. Shoes or sandals? Nike running shoes. Sandals are ok, but where I live you get forest humus in-between your toes which can get quite messy. 14. Where do you buy most of your clothes? Ross, Macys, and any place where I can find Guess Jeans at a good price.. If I want couture clothing I usually shop online for last season's Prada gear and Gucci. 15. Have you ever met any famous people? If so, who? Yes. Gwen Stefani, MC Hammer, Kenny G, the cast of the Real World San Francisco, and Kelly Packard from California Dreams/Bay Watch. I also had dinner once with Howie Klein of Reprise Records. 16. What are your favorite TV shows? The Simpsons, South Park, That 70's Show, Laverne & Shirley, Arrested development, Golden Girls, Medium, Vegas, and of course Full House. -Thank you Prelude99 and thanks for reading.  |
