You are not kidding, I loved the Movie "Ray". One of the best Bio Movies in years! I saw "Jamie Foxx" on the series "Inside The Actor's Stidio" on the Bravo channel late last year (it was a re-run from a little time after he completed the film) and he said he actually walked around with things on his eyes everyday for 8 to 10 hours. Now that's what I call Awesome and really getting into the part!

I'm not sure which one of their many great hits is my favorite I like so many of theirs' equally. I still own and listen to ABBA Gold on cassette in my car from time to time. It's the only record, CD, cassette I still have by them after having all their singles and a few of their albums.

It's really strange but refreshing to hear a Teenager dislikes today's Music. I know you claim on you PP you are stuck in the 80's and theres nothing wrong with that. I sometimes feel I'm stuck in the 60's. Thanks for the great comment.
Oh BTW did you accidently forget to rate this because you wanted to leave a comment? If you come back I would greatly appreciate your rating and thanks again.

Yes it does take me a long time and a lot of research to put one of these music reviews together. Usually between 6 hours and 4 days of research and a lot of drafted notes. Thanks for dropping by an older review Beaner.

This is an incredible review! I can only image how much research and time went in to this piece. Great job!
It's quite funny that I saw this review as I've been listening to this CD for the past several weeks. I even had the lyrics to SOS posted on my profile page for a while.
Thanks for the history. Beaner

is my all-time favorite ABBA song. I really don't know why, but I love the lyrics and the message.
All the lyrics you've included are favorites of mine that I could sing over and over again. I'm going to have to listen to my ABBA CD now.
Great review by the way. Very informative and full of exciting and fun facts.

Its funny with the passage of time you forget how many hits that groups like ABBA had and how big they were in their day. There was a time on Australian radio that every second song was either ABBA or their chief rival The Bay City Rollers.
Here's a piece of trivia - Did you know that outside of their home country, ABBA's first #1 hit internationally was here in Australia. The song was "Mamma Mia".

Thanks for the info RE: Abba.
That's background on their name is very interesting. I've got a few of their hit collections - might have to dust 'em off this weekend.
I'm sure they'd appreciate the recognition...
They deserve it even if they don't
march to the same drum....
They've inspired so many imitations,
that alone means a lot.
GREAT REVIEW!
