My wife and I wanted to stay somewhere special for our wedding night, so we decided on the Brown Palace. We had both been there previously to dine in one of the restaurants, but we had never stayed there. Unfortunately, it really wasn't worth the money.

The room was tiny. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed. Other than that, it was really nice. The decor was gorgeous, but did I mention that the room was tiny? There also wasn't much counter space in the bathroom.

The amenities of the hotel are what you expect for the price level. We ordered room service and it arrived very quickly. The staff was extremely helpful.

There are several restaurants and bars in the hotel. They are all excellent, although on the expensive side. They also serve an afternoon tea in the lobby.

Besides the size of the room (did I mention it was tiny?) the only complaint we had was they nickle-and-dime you with some extra charges. For the price of the room they could include the parking for free.

So while the service was great, you can get better rooms for less money.
