Re: Bird Bits on the blinds (Reply to this comment)

Skunks and Raccoons, eh? I shudder to think of the clean up job involved in removing their bits from the house.
The Husky, on the other hand, would love it. Bigger chew toys, not as quick as birds and can't fly either. I'm sure the Skunk smell would be a bonus.
Fortunately for the wildlife, we only get birds around my house and all the neighbourhood cats are smart enough to stay out of the yard.

Bird Bits on the blinds (Reply to this comment)
by artbyjude
My dogs would never be so determined....they are spoiled and unimaginative (but i love 'em anyway)...What a story!! I used to have cat stories like that...and when I was in Colorado, the starlings and magpies harassed the dogs constantly. (different dogs) They would lie on the porch and sigh when one would swoop down to steal a morsel of dry dog food....the story got better at night when the raccoons would come up and wash the dog food, or the skunks would stop by for a snack. No such interesting tales in Dullsville North Carolina! I gotta get outta this place!!!
(I really enjoyed this)

Your dogs remind me of my cats. They grab the bird and then bring it in. I have rescued many but some have not made it.
