with a lot of helpful info. I love Old Navy sweatshirts. Before we had an Old Navy up here in Alaska, my brother in law (BIL) would always bring one up every time he visited (twice a year). But now we have a local one, but it is about 40 miles away. I think I'll check them out online!

Yah, Mr. Janitor I am certain got a talking too. Or gee.... did he since they denied the whole occurance.
Worst yet they didn't do anything initially about the door situation. We took several pictures to show the injury site, have receipts to prove our visit, have the sales members name that knows it happened, and are still rather disturbed that they are so deceptive.
Nonetheless, the styles are inexpensive and nothing can whoop me on the head while online.

Glad this epinion was of use to you!
My head is better, what was really horrid is what the injury did to my vision. And Old Navy as a company LIED!!!!! The manager anyway. So petty! The sales member remembered and admitted it but the management shut him up.
I really wish companys would be honest. So, shop with caution in the dangerous store fronts!!!!

...am I GLAD I read this review! We live in a University town thus OUR Old Navy is terribly picked over and crowded as well! With school fast approaching, I can see where I am going to get my son's "cool duds"! Thanks for a GREAT review!

P.S. Hope your head is better.....I had a similar experience at Wal Mart once....a garden center sign hit me on the head...they denied it too! Stores! :-(

I love oldnavy.com but hate the Old Navy stores if that makes any sense whatsoever!

I will never, ever, shop at Old Navy, solely on the basis of one thing:
THEIR COMMERCIALS.
They are the most friggin' annoying commercials in the world!

They weren't at fault for your head smacking, so I guess that factors in, too, for your reviewing them so favorably. I enjoyed reading this, Lisa. Very good.
I had a similar experience in a Best Western motel in a remote town. I tripped over a metal strip in their entryway, went flying across the room, and landed on my hands and knees. For some strange reason, all the desk clerks were looking the other way. I was sore for the rest of our vacation in more ways than one! (but I still use other Best Western motels)

I've always been hesitant to shop online for clothes... simply because it's just difficult to determine if I'll really like it or not when I actually wear the item.
