They should sell Lego Insurance to cover all the mishaps that come with these little pieces of plastic. Took off the nail huh? That is harsh! I think the worst was rolling over on a small piece in the middle of the night and getting it stuck in my arm, I must have been in a deep sleep because I didn't feel it until the next morning - had to walk around for the better part of an hour with the impression in my arm.

After that I instituted the "no Lego pieces in bed" rule LOL.

I've done the "Lego Hop" many a time when I stepped on a piece in the middle of the night. Those little unseen bricks and bits that get lost in the carpet only to be found by unsuspecting toes ... another badge of motherhood!

Me too! Actually, I stepped on one late at night and it ended up taking my entire toe nail off. Yes! It hurt like you know what! ;)

Great, great review ...

Have you ever seen the Brick Testament? The entire Bible [scenes] done with Lego bricks! Even those that aren't into religion fall over when they see the site.

Alex won't grow up that way as he is already turning into a Duplo-Head. He loves them!!!

So we'll be seeing him at our Lego conventions in about 10 years ... muhahahahahahaha!

there has to be, or we need to come up with, a term for when your child gets a Lego stuck up their nose and you frantically try to extract it so you don't need to go back to the Dr or ER and explain how it happened again.

Freak -

this hits way too close to home. for years I thought they were speaking in tounges, then I got the clue - it's Legospeak. I've fiannly caught on and am part of the club - although I haven't reached the status of Legomaniac quite yet, but we stil have years to go.

great write-up

My brother had LEGOs growing up and my sister and I had to "STAY OUT OF HIS ROOM". So, yep, I basically grew up as a NLP!

MT is an NLP?!?!? Oh, say it isn't so! LOL!

I've had Lego in my life since I was a small child. I think its actually become part of my identity, it certainly has become embedded in my feet! LOL

My kids are really getting into Legos lately. I didn't realize I had to shell out a fortune and learn a while new language.
