The Omaha Steak products are good enough that they deserve independent reviews, not cut-n-pastes from the same person spreading advertising.

Omaha Steaks is one of the places that I regularly do christmas shopping. I had some friends move from big city to middle of nowhere and were be-moaning the loss of restraunts and sent them a care package - they have thanked me a dozen times over

an extremely well written review. I loved all the detail with a touch of humor thrown in for good measure.
Their name sure threw me off. I thought they simply sold steaks. Little did I know. Thanks for sharing this with other hungry members and consumers.

That was quite an interesting learning experience. I still don't think I'll be ordering even though I am a meat eater as well. But you definitely satisfied my curiosity about the meat by mail phenomenon!

My employer uses Omaha Steaks as a special thank you gift to customers on occasion. He even sent my family a boneless pork package. The kids loved playing with the dry ice!

Mine just went up to the cool country for the weekend and gave me the keys so that when their "Omaha Steak" order arrived I could put them in their freezer. I was amazed at how well they were packed - how cold and how sturdy. Theirs came UPS.
I'm printing out your Review for him. Perhaps there's something he didn't know (I doubt it)
The best thing about it is that they invite us to dinner quite often! I'm all hepped up again from reading your great review.

Besides wanting to know how the meats taste, which you answered, I have to know what food chain offers triple coupons in San Diego?
Here in Los Angeles I have never come across this and did years ago in NJ. I can get good bargains at Food 4 Less and bag my own stuff in Hollywood and scan it all myself and slip in coupons and money, but they do not even double.
Are you in any rockin robin mailings to pass around coupons? We should start something like that on EP for the serious shopper or just single moms!
Great review. I was bummer earlier when my neighbors were grilling again and I had nothing.
