Inside our hearts

Pros:uplifting, graceful, good for sharing
Cons:no cons
The Bottom Line: I think any female over the age of twelve should be required to read this book.

Robin McGraw writes out her story in the pages of "Inside My Heart". I like Dr. Phil, and I have long adored his wife. She seems like real folk to me, the kind of woman I would befriend in a split second. This book of hers just cemented my already warm feelings for her. I have read some of it to my college aged daughters, through tears. She only had sons, but she is a great example for our daughters. She values herself, her husband, her marriage, her children, and her life. She is grateful for what she has and what she is able to do. She has created her life the way she wanted to create it. Each of us should do that, so few of us actually do. Kudos to robin for reaching out to mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, and grandmothers and reminding us to create our happiness the way we imagined it.

This book would make a great gift for gals from middle school to great-grandmotherhood. I felt like I had a new sense of power and inspiration every time I picked it up. It is full of heart touching common sense. If only common sense were more common.
