Nothing to write home about unless asking for help and sympathy. Well it has some nice things about it but I hate one main thing about it. It has 128 meg of ram and about every 130 minutes it seems like it is frozen but then five mins later it works okay but kind of laggy. When you restart it is acts fine untill approximatly 130 mins. Even if you are not doing anything really demanding on the hardware. I run Windows NT 4 on it, since I use it for work. I wouldn't have choosen this one but at work they bought it. I am starting to believe that I.T. bought them for job security. Though the networking is farily good when using Novell. Another bonus is the abundance of software over Linux. I wouldn't really recommend this computer even though there are sine nice things it has to offer. Ohh and it will run better for the most part Windows 98 or NT. I truely hope you will consider a different brand and platform weather you my a linux box or a PowerMac G4. I will refuse to take another Dell if they update them in a few years. I was really excited it has a Pentium III and I thought It would be great but my old computers at home seem to run better then it. In fact my Pentium 1 thinkpad runs more stable and has about the same performance which doesn't even make sense according to the specs. Both are running NT 4 with novell, it may be that it was not configured as well in NT. I just thought I would share my bad experince with the Dell PCs.
