Pros: Excellent battery life; very good coverage; built-in MP3 player
Cons: expensive accessories; voice command isn't very good
The Bottom Line: Buy it. Well appointed and very easy to use. Very similar operation as the other LG phones of this style. Excellent value. Good call quality. Good MP3 player quality.

A very good cell phone. Gets the job done, which in my opinion is to make phone calls. It has a very good coverage area, although tends to be weak inside buildings.
The battery life is remarkable. I have gone 5-6 days without a charge. Of course that all depends on how much you use your phone.
The camera takes OK pictures, but again...this is a phone, not a camera. It would be adequate to document an accident or something along those lines. Bottom line though if you want a camera to take excellent pictures, you should buy a camera.
Very satisfied with the "New Every Two" plan. I was able to get my VX8300 free, a free VX8300 for my wife, and two VX5300s for each kid for free.
The built in MP3 player is quite remarkable as well. With a 512mb (extra $30), it can hold over 120 songs. Playback quality is very good. In order to copy CDs, you have to buy the additional Music Essentials kit (extra $30). But all in all, still cheaper than a traditional MP3 player.
Available ringtones are a little weak, and buying additional ringtones can be quite expensive; not to mention that it uses your air time minutes. But you can get around the airtime usage by calling after 9 or on the weekends.
