If you need or want to send a card fast and you have a Yahoo! ID then you should be using Yahoo! Greetings. I first started using Yahoo! Greetings over a year ago when I was looking for some birthday cards (I was late on one of them) and I wanted a large selection. At the time there were not as many places as there are now that you can get cards and since I already had a Yahoo! ID this seemed like a good choice.
They make it very simple to send a card also, even easier if you already have a Yahoo! ID (which at this point most people have if for nothing else a back-up e-mail address). They have added more features over the last year and added more cards to their selection as well.

When you first go to greetings.yahoo.com you are greeted with a large selection categories and ideas for cards that you can use.

At the very top of the page there are 6 categories that Yahoo! views as the most popular.

If these are not what your looking for don't worry there are a lot more categories for you to choose from.
Holidays
If your in a festive mood they also have a list of all holidays for this month and for next month (no they have more than just the well known holidays here).
Featured Greetings
They also have a selection of Featured Greetings that might fit exactly what your looking for. These are usually what they consider to be the best cards that they have to offer from their most used categories. Right now there are many very good cards here:

There are also many sub-categories to each of these so you shouldn't have a problem with finding a perfect card.
Sending Your Card
Sending your card is simple also. After you have selected your card, click on "Personalize and Send" and then you will get another screen that you need to fill in a little information:
Recipient's name and e-mail address
Message - up to 4000 characters
Font - so you can customize this also
Send Money - if you have Yahoo! Bill-Pay you can include money in with your card
If you have a Yahoo! ID then your name and information will already be filled in for you - although don't worry you can also change this if you want a different name listed for the card (maybe a nickname or something like that).
Click on preview now so you can make sure that everything is correct. If it is then your ready to send your card. Don't forget you can also have a copy sent to you and you can get a letter to tell you when they have picked up a card.
You can also select when the card is sent so you can send on in three weeks today so you won't forget someone's birthday again.
Send Your Own Photos
Yes, you can send your own pictures to friends and family. They suggest that you can send any of the following:
Family photos
Pet photos
Pictures of you and your friends
Travel photos
Wedding pictures
Other favorite pictures of yours
It is very simple to send your own pictures with your cards as well. To get started go to http://greetings.yahoo.com/greet/upload and click on "Create Your Own Photo Greeting."
Once here you can select a photo from:
Your own computer - you just need to upload it by clicking on browse and finding it on your computer and then double clicking on the file name.
On The Web - you can also select a picture from anyone on the internet. All you need to do is know the complete URL for the image and enter it. If your uploading a picture you may at times be asked to enter a 6 digit number from the page to ensure quality.
Yahoo! Photo Album - If you have a Yahoo! Photo Album you can also send a picture from your album.
After you have selected the picture that you want to use your ready to start making your card. Now you have to customize the greeting. The next screen that you will be sent to has the image you just selected on a card. Now you get to customize your card:
Layout - you can choose the layout that you want for your image.
Recipient's name and e-mail address
Your Message - can be up to 4000 characters
Font - decide what font your image should be sent with
Include Money - yes you can also include money with these more personal cards
Now choose when you want it sent
Here you can also select if you would also like to receive a copy of the card and if you would like to know when your card is picked up.
That's all there is too it. You will receive a confirmation that it has been sent almost instantly and the cards I have sent have always been delivered on time. I love the features that you can add your own images to cards so that you can make them even more personal.
