Pros: Small and lightweight, a good idea
Cons: Junk. x10.com will spam you for life if you order from them.
The Bottom Line: AVOID X10.com products. Cheap, poor quality, all hype in their banner ads. Intrusive spam ads will follow you forever if you order from them. It's happening to me!

This little camera can go anywhere, mine went back to x10.com. Picture quality is grainy, light sensitivity is poor, sound is bad and the price, for what you get is very high.
Plastic lens distorts and makes rainbows. Bad news as a security camera. the very low resolution and the poor light sensitivity, people's faces are not recognizable in daylight, let alone at dusk, or even with floodlights illuminating the scene.
Mounted on your computer as a web cam it does a nearly adequate job as long as the room is very well lit, but break out the high wattage bulbs!
Any kind of electrical appliance interfers with the signal, hair dryer, microwave, etc.
Possibly the worst problem in dealing with x10.com is that once you order from them you will never get rid of their intrusive ads.
X10 SPAM IS A REAL PROBLEM.
I bought several products from X10.com and now EVERY time I open any website I am bombarded by their website ads which open in additional windows using my computer's resources.
I wish that I had never bought anything from their site in the first place.
