You gave good tips, although I suggest that you touch up your grammar when you get a chance.

One thing I always ask when buying a car (and I always buy used cars) is whether the seller has any service records. I keep good service records for my car and sometimes people will keep receipts from the dealer for major repair. I like to have those. In fact, I will pay extra for a car with a complete service history, including all oil and filter changes, tire purchases and other routine things. Someone who is meticulous enough to keep complete records probably took good care of the vehicle.

Your tip on the timing belt is a big one. Timing belts are often expensive to replace and sometimes cause major damage when they break. A broken timing belt will always cause the car to stop running, stranding you wherever you might be. Anyway, good tips!
