Made Mistake with order and would not correct it !

DO NOT BUY FROM VANNS.COM!
I purchased a Onkyo HT-S780 from Vanns.com. everything seemed to be going great. I even wrote them a positive review. I received my order CONFIRMATION and receipt online. I was given instructions by Vanns.com to track my order using the order # on their website. I tried this with no success for about 3 days. I emailed Vanns.com about my order to clarify and resolve the issue. They have a policy that you will receive a response within 48 hours max. After 72 or more hours i finally received a response. They are sorry to inform me that they or out of the product i ordered. They admitted their faults (one being late to respond and two selling me an item and confirming it as sold that was no longer available) Ticked me off that it took them 1 week to respond with that after my order. I figured well i hope a company that puts such a stress on customer satisfaction will fix an admitted error on their behalf. So i called the customer service # as instructed by Vanns.com to work out a deal to make both parties happy. In conclusion I AM NOT HAPPY and displeased by their offer to correct their own error. I was offered the newer model of the Home Theater System I had originally bought at a discounted price. But the specs wear near identical on both systems and i would have to come out of pocket an extra $100 to get this model. So basically Im getting the same specs as my original order but im paying them an extra $100 for the hell of it for an error they made. I wanted this system so much i was still going to purchase it, BUT Vanns.com would NOT upgrade the shipping to 3 day air to get it to me ASAP after ive already waited a week for my original ordered that they messed up. I thought that was the least thing they could do was to get me a system ASAP after they screwed my first order up and I was still gonna pay them $100 extra on top of that.They were unreasonable to help me in anyway except for the usual 10% off crap they offer anybody. And the cherry on the top is when i asked if i would receive the free speaker stands(which anyone who orders that system receives) if i paid the extra $100 for the newer system, Well of course they said NO to that also. If we as customers make an error we pay for it in full whatever the consequences. On the other hand Vanns.com doesn't feel the need to correct their mistakes or make the paying customer a happy one. I waited anxiously for a week for my new home theater in a box only to have Vanns.com let me down big time on an item they confirmed was being shipped. The biggest disappointment was their lack of ability to do whats right and correct their own mistake.
