Swiffer dusters are great tools to use when cleaning your house. They sort of remind me of my mother’s feather duster, only these do a much better job. I don’t know what material the actual duster portion is made from, but it sure does the trick. Just take a duster from the box, slide it onto the fork, and presto -- a duster that picks up just about anything.
The handle portion of my Swiffer duster has an extendable handle, which makes cleaning high places that are normally difficult for me to reach a snap. I especially love them for items such as my ceiling fans -- use the Swiffer duster to clean each blade of the fan. It is also great for other high areas in my house, like the top of the refrigerator. Really, it makes cleaning a snap. Even my children don’t mind dusting. Gone are the days of a dusting rag.
I really like this cleaning tool because the dusting heads are disposable. When it gets dirty, just pull it off and toss into the trashcan, and pop on a clean one. I have to admit that since this type of product has become available, I clean my house more often. That has to be a good thing.
