Overstock.com is one of the best places that I have visited online over the past few years. I first made a purchase 4 years ago on Overstock.com that saved me so much money I could not believe it. Ever since I check the Overstock.com on line web page at least once per week to see what is new. I have purchased any where from 15 to 20 times from the Overstock.com wed site over this time. Some times a single item purchase other times a multiple item order purchase.
All of the orders that I have placed with Overstock.com on line web site. I have had nothing but good out comes. I loved every thing I have purchased and have always been impressed with the prices they have to offer, how easy the site is to use and how great the items were that I had received. These are all important things for me to experience when shopping in an on line store. If I like it, I go back. And I have been back to Overstock.com over and over again. I have also recommended many friends as well as family members that have also loved every thing they had gotten.
I really want to share my first experience with them to all of you. I had been searching for a doll house to build with my daughter. It was to be her first and I have been doing it since I was a child. I wanted her first to be challenging, fun and time consuming for the two of us to do. I came across one called The Lilly by Greenleaf. Of course I was still searching there was no way I wanted to spend hundreds on a first doll house when odds are a lot of mistakes would be made since my daughter is only four. But I was determined that this one was the one to get. I Google searched it and kept looking through web pages. I saw it for $200.00, then $150.00 and none were too much cheaper than that. I was just about ready to give up when I clicked on one that led me right to Overstock.com. There it was. The entire Lilly doll house kit for only $69.00. My jaw dropped and I purchased it right at that very second!
They showed pictures of it in detail on Overstock.com. Giving me a much better idea of what we would be dealing with. It gave some details on it, including the time it would take to build and more. It also listed a few customer reviews from people who had bought it. 3 who loved it and found it easy to do and 1 who did not much like it. It was nice to be able to read the ups and downs of the product before it came.
I bought it. Selected express overnight shipping which costs a little more than standard or priority but was very fair priced. I received my package the very next day at around 5:00pm. I was very impressed that it was delivered right on time with no delay. The box was not packaged obviously since it was huge and in a box already. They just put the shipping labels on it and sent it like that.
I liked that because I did not have to struggle to get it out. It was out already. The box had been taped extra all around so during shipping it would not spill anything out. And when I opened the box every thing I needed was there, along with a small envelope package on the back of the box. This contained the packing slip and behind that was my receipt for my order and return receipt just in case. I obviously did not need to use that.
I was truly amazed at how well that purchase worked out. My daughter did a great job just to let you all know! Aside from that I have purchased a DVD/VCR combo, a few toys for my daughter, some shoes for myself, gifts for family members and friends, a few appliances for my kitchen and more. Overstock.com pretty much has a little bit of everything and most are at wholesale prices. I have no idea how they can charge as little as they do. It is really great. It seems that they are geared toward the customers needs much more than that of their own needs.
It is easy to go through the items on the site. They are in sections or you can use the search bar if you are looking for some thing particular. They also direct you to other items you might be interested in on their site. You can sign up right on the site to be emailed in case of new item clearances, deals and sales. This is great, seems I never miss out on anything since they notify me that some thing is worth looking at on that day. I enjoy that very much.
Ordering is rather simple to. Find the items you want, buy now. And then check out. You then select the shipping method you would like to use. Standard, priority, express, overnight or what ever suits your needs. Then enter your billing information, shipping information and payment type. Such as credit card or electronic check. Then that is it. Your order is submitted and on it's way to you very quickly. A very simple ordering process.
When I order they always send a return receipt just in case I need to return some thing. And on occasion they will send me and email asking about the service that I had gotten. I have never had any thing but good things to say about Overstock.com. They are the best. I have had no problems. I have loved everything and every thing is flaw less. It is so easy to order from them as I said before. A great place to shop for gifts or for your family needs. It is just over all one great site.
On the Overstock.com on line web site. You can find shoes, sneakers, clothing, house hold items, electronics, computer items, sports items, toys, kid's items, name brands and more. All at great bargain prices. It is a truly amazing place to shop. Great around Christmas time. I have shopped with them around the holiday season and even using standard shipping the items all came with in 5 or 6 days at most. Everything I have purchased I have been pleased with. I never had to return anything and I have never had any complaints. I highly recommend Overstock.com.
